Send a Letter to Your Lawmakers: Demand Traffic Relief in Dallas-Ft. Worth
The Texas population boom has led to increasingly bad gridlock in North Texas, but politics have gotten in the way of moving forward with necessary transportation projects, including the I-635 LBJ East expansion project.
This expansion project would reduce traffic congestion, improve safety, and give commuters a choice when it comes to using managed lanes.
Fill out this form to find your local lawmakers. Tell them that you demand action on the I-635 LBJ East expansion project.

Like many Texans, I can’t handle our state’s traffic any longer. North Texas in particular has experienced a population boom that’s led to increasingly bad gridlock, but the I-635 LBJ East expansion project would relieve congestion for hundreds of thousands of commuters in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Unfortunately, politics have gotten in the way of moving forward with this long-overdue infrastructure project, so today I write to ask respectfully that you join me in supporting the I-635 LBJ East expansion.
The portion of I-635 between US 75 and I-30 is one of the most congested and dangerous roads in the area. The I-635 LBJ East expansion would reduce traffic congestion, improve safety, and give commuters a choice when it comes to using managed lanes. If we can add managed lanes to this road without raising taxes, plus gain additional free lanes for drivers who choose not to pay a fee, it would be a win-win situation for all who travel on this thoroughfare.
So many people like me are relying on the Texas Transportation Commission to proceed with construction on the I-635 LBJ East expansion project so we can spend less time sitting in traffic and more time with our loved ones. Life is too short to waste it in traffic.
