Press Release: Texans invited to submit favorite sitting-in-traffic songs
Texans for Traffic Relief seeking suggestions for #trafficmixtape Spotify playlist; best submission will receive six-month subscription to Spotify Premium
AUSTIN, Texas — Starting today, Texans for Traffic Relief (TTR) invites Texans to submit the songs they like to listen to while stuck in traffic. The organization’s favorite submissions will be added to a custom Spotify playlist for all gridlock-affected Texans to enjoy, and one lucky Texan will receive a six-month subscription to Spotify Premium.
“No one likes sitting in traffic, but until we improve congestion, a solid playlist can make your commute a little bit better,” said TTR spokesman David White. “We want Texans to help us add to our playlist so traffic-afflicted commuters can jam out in solidarity as they move at a snail’s pace.”
Texans can submit songs at txtrafficmixtape.com. Submissions will be accepted through midnight onTuesday, February 13. One entrant will be selected to receive a gift card good for a six-month subscription to Spotify Premium. A completed Spotify playlist will be available to listen to in early March.
